Eligibility

You’ll need to provide the following documents and information during the application process to support your eligibility to become a citizen:

1. Nomination Form
2. Valid passport (certified copy)
3. Identity card (certified copy)
4. Police certificate from state of origin
5. Vanuatu Citizenship Commission due diligence check
6. Personal Profile, including education and employment history
7. Medical certificate
8. 6 colour photos (40mm x 50 mm)
9. Asset proof
10. Asset Report
11. Employment certification
12. Bank Reference
13. Professional Reference
14. Academic certification

Your spouse will need to provide the following:

• Nomination Form
• Valid passport (certified copy)
• Identity card (certified copy)
• Police certificate from state of origin
• Vanuatu Citizenship Commission due diligence check
• Marriage certificate (notarized copy)
• Medical certificate
• 6 colour photos (40mm x 50mm)

Any dependants under 18 should provide:

• Nomination Form
• Certification of birth (notarized copy)
• Valid passport (certified copy)
• Identity card (certified copy)
• 6 colour photos (40mm x 50mm)
• Medical certificate
• Police certificate from state of origin (for 12 to 18 years)
• Vanuatu Citizenship Commission due diligence check (for 12 to 18 years)

Any dependants 18-25 and 65 years and over will need to provide:

• Nomination Form
• Certification of birth (notarized copy)
• Valid passport (certified copy)
• Identity card (certified copy)
• 6 colour photos (40mm x 50mm)
• Medical certificate
• Police certificate from state of origin (from 18 years plus)
• Vanuatu Citizenship Commission due diligence check

Requirements

During the application process, the Vanuatu Government and their representatives may access the following information about your or your family:

• Credit reports
• Police records
• Interpol records

It is a requirement of the application process that you approve these government checks.
